Austin Reaves responds to getting trolled by Lithuanian player

Vaidas Karniauskas may have intended to irritate Austin Reaves, but he was unsuccessful.

After Team USA's shocking loss to Lithuania over the weekend, swingman Reaves of the Los Angeles Lakers was questioned.

Mocked by the Lithuania player Kariniauskas during Monday's media scrum at the FIBA World Cup. Reaves responded quite responsibly, which deserves praise.

It's basketball," Reaves reportedly responded, as reported by Nicole Ganglani of Silver Screen and Roll.

It's a competition between him and myself. I don't have any strong feelings about what he did there.

There have been plenty of occasions in my career when people have given me strange looks or done things, but it's just basketball, and it doesn't matter.

To this Reaves chimed in, "He played a really good game" regarding Kariniauskas. As a team, they were superior to us and we lost. Because of this, we will recover.

Karniauskas and Lithuania startled the basketball world with a 110-104 victory over the United States in a meaningless game on Sunday.

Rich Paul has chosen to start hating like a pro this week.
