Deion Sanders will coach at Colorado with former Tampa Bay Buccaneers great Warren Sapp, but not this year.
Sapp expressed his desire to join Sanders' staff and mentor defensive lineman on The Rich Eisen Show.
“What if my d-line hunts the other quarterback with a quarterback like Shedeur Sanders? Our chances of victory skyrocketed,” he said.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran told Eisen that the defensive lineman were eager to learn from him during his visit to Colorado this year.
Warren Sapp was a legendary Miami Hurricanes player in college.
Sapp was a Super Bowl winner, Defensive Player of the Year, four-time First Team All-Pro, and seven-time Pro Bowler. He'd be great hire.
