BREAKING: Notable Buffalo Bills Player Shockingly Informs Team He’s Retiring Midseason At Age 31

Throughout the league's winter, several athletes retired from professional sports at an early age.

Another key member of the team has bowed out and gone off into the sunset.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, linebacker Christian Kirksey is calling it quits after nine and a half seasons in the league. Even at 31, he's still young.

Kirksey, originally from Iowa, was selected by the Browns in the third round in 2014.

After stints with the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and Houston Texans, he is currently on the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills.

With 778 total stops, 45 for loss, 33 pass breakups, 16.5 sacks, seven interceptions, and six fumble recoveries, Kirksey had an impressive NFL career.
