Cardinals OC makes major statement about QB Kyler Murray

Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing has only been in his position since February, but he already seems to have made up his mind on starting quarterback Kyler Murray. 

It's unclear if Murray will be able to make any significant shots while working with Petzing. 

Earlier this week, Petzing praised Murray, saying, "He's been unbelievable, really since we walked in the building," as reported by Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk on Tuesday.

After Murray (then 26) tore his ACL on December 12, 2023, he was placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list and will miss the first four games of the 2023 season. Petzing made this statement the following day. 

Petzing claimed his long-term QB1 is already on the roster, contrary to the belief of some in the NFL that Arizona will sit Murray throughout the season in an alleged.
