Chandler Jones Sends Message To Russell Wilson Ahead Of Opener

In the last few days, the status of Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Chandler Jones has emerged as one of the most peculiar situations in the National Football League.

Jones went from being a veteran defensive end eager to play in his second season with the Raiders to criticizing his team's coaching staff

And front office and alleging he was kept out of the team's Las Vegas training facility.

Jones' frequent use of social media to disclose text messages between himself, head coach Josh McDaniels, and general manager Dave Ziegler only exacerbated the situation.

Jones stated that the Raiders were so concerned for his safety that they dispatched a crisis response team to his residence.

It now appears that Jones is battling mental health issues and has been extremely active on social media as a result, particularly now that he has been declared out of today's game against the Denver Broncos.

Jones, who has previously had considerable success against Russell Wilson, tweeted the following on Sunday morning.

"Felt like I could've gotten to Russ at least once or twice today!" he posted.
