Clippers HC provides health update on Kawhi Leonard, Paul George
The Clippers head coach, Tyronn Lue, recently spoke on the UNCUT" podcast hosted by Chris Haynes and Marc Stein.
When he expressed optimism that both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will be healthy for the start of training camp.
After acquiring Leonard and George in the winter of 2019, the Clippers believed they were prepared to make a title run.
Leonard tore his meniscus in the first round of the playoffs after playing in only 52 games the previous season as he made his return from an ACL injury.
George played in 56 games but was sidelined for the rest of the season with an injured right knee.
Lue said that he won't be limiting each star's playing time as much this year.
Like I've been saying, we need to start taking the regular season seriously, giving the fans what they came to see, playing our hardest every game, and showcasing our finest product to the public.
To which I reply, "And you know, our guys are ready to do that this year."
