Colorado’s Travis Hunter Names Choice for Future NFL Team

Two-way star Travis Hunter looked to have an NFL draft destination in mind before he exploded on the scene in his first game for Colorado.

In the first episode of his weekly BleacherReport talk show, 12 Talks, prior to Week 1, Hunter, who impressed fans in CU's season-opening win on Saturday, made his pick for which NFL team he'd like to play for.

Hunter did not give a straightforward response, despite the fact that the 49ers are his favorite team.

When asked about his preferred NFL team, Hunter responded, "If I had a say, I like staying in Colorado," implying that he wouldn't mind being drafted by the Broncos.

The 20-year-old didn't stop there, though; he also mentioned the potential of playing for another team he's been linked to: the Packers, who are currently in the midst of a rebuild.

However, Green Bay may be icy. The cold doesn't bother me at all. Why must I visit Green Bay?

Hunter's assessment of the Packers was as icy as Lambeau Field in the dead of winter, but he'll still be on every NFL scout's radar as he builds on his impressive debut.
