Deion Sanders arrived at work early Thursday morning, like most college football coaches.
He observed a stranger in his Boulder, Colorado workplace as he settled down for the day.
Sanders believes he saw a mouse in his office before his greatest game as a head coach, against Oregon, on Saturday.
“It wasn't big enough to be a rat, but it was a mouse,” Sanders added.
His eyesight as an excellent return man during his playing career helped him see the mouse out of the corner of his eye.
"Scared. I can't "Sanders said. Can't live like this. This is Boulder, Colorado."
Sanders is working with the Buffaloes two days before their biggest game, rodent or not. They'll play the No. 10-ranked Ducks in Eugene at 3:30 on Saturday.
