ESPN Analysts Float Preposterous Trade for Jets to Replace Injured Aaron Rodgers

Jets coach Robert Saleh has stated that Zach Wilson would start for the remainder of the season since Aaron Rodgers' Achilles tendon is torn.

Old Jets linebacker Bart Scott suggested trading the team's 2024 first-round selection to the Vikings for Cousins.

The Jets cannot trade their 2024 first-round selection like Scott implies unless Green Bay and New York alter the trade deal, which is doubtful.

One of many reasons a trade is improbable is that Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, 35, is in his last season.

Never mind that Scott and Greenberg appear to think the Vikings, who won 13 games last season, would sacrifice their playoff aspirations for the Jets.

Despite Minnesota's subpar offensive line and absence of a rushing game, Cousins has completed 72.7% of his passes for 708 yards and six touchdowns to one interception.
