Former Jets QB Boomer Esiason thinks New York should pursue this former Pro Bowler to replace Zach Wilson

Even though Zach Wilson threw three interceptions in a blowout defeat to the Cowboys, the Jets are celebrating his quarterback growth. 

Robert Saleh doesn't expect the club to replace injured Aaron Rodgers as quarterback. 

 But former Jets QB Boomer Esiason thinks that's incorrect and has a particular upgrading plan.

"Right now, there's no other choice for the Jets on the roster," Esiason remarked on "Boomer and Gio" this week. 

At 'The NFL Today,' everyone is involved and has an opinion, and most players think Carson Wentz is the answer because you don't have to give up anything.

The owner overreacted to two late-season defeats. Carson Wentz isn't playing for a reason, but he won't be as terrible as Zach Wilson."
