As they seek a second Super Bowl, the defending NFC champion Eagles are 2–0.
Despite his good start, star wide receiver A.J. Brown complained on the bench during Philadelphia's 34–28 win over the Vikings on Thursday.
Running back D'Andre Swift and wideout DeVonta Smith had great games. Brown had only four receptions for 29 yards in the win.
In the fourth quarter, quarterback Jalen Hurts and Brown had a heated sideline argument, prompting coach Nick Sirianni to separate his two top players.
“We won, I don’t want to make it bigger,” Hurts said. For external variables, they don't matter.
Brown, one of the NFL's top wide receivers, will certainly be targeted next week when the Eagles play Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football in Tampa.
