Jets Named Landing Spot for Former No. 1 Pick QB, Pro Bowler
The New York Jets may look elsewhere for a quarterback if Zach Wilson does not improve his play.
On September 20th, he published a column discussing three players the team may acquire via trade.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston was one of the players he considered.
He called it "unfair" that the NFL as a whole is so harshly critiquing Wilson after just one start against one of the top defenses in the league.
According to Tansey, Winston is one of the "most logical quarterbacks" for the Jets to pursue because of his extensive background in the NFL.
During his nine-year career, he has played for two different NFL teams and participated in over 86 games, 80 of which he started.
