New England Patriots complete quarterback U-turn as duo released by Bill Belichick

The Patriots dismissed two quarterbacks on Monday. Mac Jones starts his third season at Gillette Stadium as the Patriots' quarterback.

Jones has become the starting quarterback after being picked No.15 overall in 2021 to replace NFL superstar Tom Brady.

The Patriots signed Corral after the Panthers released him in the summer.

Bill Belichick initially designated him his No.2 quarterback for the 2023 NFL season.

The Patriots dismissed Bailey Zappe and Malik Cunningham before the NFL deadline on Aug. 29.

After the Week 1 opening against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Patriots made further QB changes.
