NFL Rumors: Latest on Chris Jones, Nick Bosa and Mike Evans contracts

Mike Evans and the Buccaneers are still negotiating his contract.

Josina Anderson reported that Evans' team submitted an acceptable contract structure to the Bucs, considering both Evans' preferences and Tampa Bay's future cap space.

Bucs and Evans haven't communicated recently, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

No progress has been made in reaching a deal. Anderson reported Evans sent a good deal framework to his team.

Now it's up to the Bucs to negotiate an extension with Evans, if both parties are still interested.

Evans avoids contract holdouts, unlike other players. In 2023, his tenth season in Tampa Bay, he will earn a $13 million base salary.

The Bucs' 2014 first-round pick wants to be in camp and practice to help the team win this year. I don't want to harm our team by refusing.

Evans' team participation could have positive or negative consequences for the Bucs. Watch September 9 for Evans and the Bucs' last-minute deal.

Rapoport said on NFL+: "The Boss value their worth greatly, from father to Joey Bosa to Nick Bosa.

Bosa's final year of his rookie contract will earn him $17.8 million.
