Offseason in review for the New York Jets

The New York Jets had an aggressive offseason, speeding up their plans for 2023.

The 2022 Jets team had some flaws, but they made progress under Robert Saleh in his second season.

The Jets had standout rookies in Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner, and with other talented young players, they made a bold move.

Team aims to improve QB position after poor performance in 2022. Gang Green made a big improvement by getting Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets got Rodgers and saved money with their core players.

The team added championship-hungry veterans, including some of Rodgers' former Green Bay teammates.

Zach Wilson was once the Jets' top prospect. GM Joe Douglas acquired many draft picks, making Wilson the leader of a homegrown team.

The Jets have top rookie contracts in other positions, unlike other NFL teams who focus on rookie-contract QBs. Douglas and Co.

Jets considered Derek Carr but shifted focus to Aaron Rodgers. The Packers legend was done in Green Bay and considering retirement.
