Shedeur Sanders shows true colors when asked about Colorado step up

After a stellar season debut, Shedeur Sanders discussed the difference in playing FBS for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Sanders transferred from Jackson State University (JSU) to the Buffaloes in the summer before the 2023 NCAA football season.

The 21-year-old played two years in FCS before joining FBS.

His father, Deion, the Colorado head coach, accompanied the young quarterback.

The two-time Super Bowl champion has coached his kid during his two years in collegiate football.

Sanders smashed a school record in his Buffaloes debut against TCU on Sept. 2.

He set a school record with 510 throwing yards on 38-47 throws with four touchdowns and no interceptions.

Sanders has been regarded as a Heisman Trophy candidate due to his success. In the TCU victory, Buffaloes teammate Travis Hunter also excelled.

Sanders stated that NFL star Tom Brady texted him after his impressive debut.
